BISHOP, John - With utter devastation in our hearts it is with deep sorrow and sadness we announce the sudden passing of John on Sunday, January 23rd, 2022.
Devoted husband of Susanne. Proud father of Mitchell and Mikayla.
Dear son of Marg and the late Bob Bishop and loved brother of Bob Bishop.
Loving son in law of Betty and the late Jim Bandstra and brother in law to Mark & Sylvia Bandstra, Sharon Vandenberg and the late Francine Bandstra.
He will be forever missed by his cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
John’s warm spirit and easy going attitude will be greatly missed by so many. He was a longtime employee at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home where he was a loyal employee and dedicated to serving families and the community.
He will be truly missed.
Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N., Bowmanville on Thursday, January 27th from 6 – 8 pm. *To attend the visitation you must register your space by contacting the funeral home between the hours of 9 am – 4 pm.
Funeral Service will be held at Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 2805 Highway 2, Bowmanville on Friday, January 28th at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Soper Creek Wildlife or a charity of your choice.
