PATON, Anderson (Andy) - Andy died on Wednesday, February 23rd, 2022 at Lakeridge Health Hospital, Oshawa from complications with pneumonia. Anderson Paton was born on June 16th, 1941 in Carluke, Scotland.
He was the youngest of 5 boys and 4 sisters. His family were coal miners.
Andy moved to Canada in 1968 to marry his wife Margaret Paton.
Working at Alcan Canada Foil, he enjoyed a life raising his two children, Allison and Colin.
A lover of music, laughter and conversation, Andy was a diligent husband and a hard working father.
Always a thoughtful man, Andy was happiest when he was surrounded by his family (near and far) and his friends.
Everyone who ever knew him regarded him as a gentle person with a true Scottish sense of humour who loved horses, dogs and all animals. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his daughter Allison, son Colin, his daughter-in-law Dawn Coulter and his grandson Jack Anderson Paton.
