CANT, Paul Ignatius - Peacefully after a lengthy struggle with Parkinson’s at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Wednesday April 6, 2022 at the age of 73.
Beloved husband of Jill (née Heard) for over 50 years.
Devoted Dad of Heather (Anthony) Woodward and Andrea Cant (Ian Roul).
Cherished Grandpa of Courtney, James and Sean. Caring brother of Mary (Paul) Lucas, Mark Cant (Marian Ryan), Elizabeth Petahtegoose, Simon (Aline) Cant, Nick (Barb) Cant, Bernadette (Ross) Wallace, Timothy Cant (Mary Jane Jim), Cecelia Cant, and the late Katie Cant.
Brother-in-law of Doug Heard (Jo-Anne Allison).
Loving son of the late Peter and Sheila Cant.
Paul will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will take place on Monday April 11th, 2022 at McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) from 6 – 8 pm. A Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday April 12th at 2 pm with visiting one hour prior to service.
