GAVIN, Mary Barbara (nee Moran) - It is with great sadness the family advises the sudden, but peaceful passing Barbara, who was called home to be with our Lord on April 17th, 2022 at the age of 79.
Loving wife to Paul for 55 years. Caring mother of Christopher (Alison).
Fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Ceilidh and Fiona.
Predeceased by her parents Austin and Catherine Moran (Ballard).
Beloved sister to Peter, Sandra, Martha, Paula, Elizabeth, D'Arcy and Michael.
Throughout her life, Barbara was continually assisting others in need.
She worked as assistant to the director at the Crippled Children's Centre in Toronto, volunteering with various church groups, canvassing with the Canadian Cancer Society and assisting with in-home visits for the elderly.
She enjoyed travelling, gardening, dancing and spending time with her grandchildren.
Arrangements with Low & Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 70 Toronto Street North, Uxbridge.
