ATKINS, Lucy Wilhelmina (nee Somers) Atkins - Passed peacefully at Michael Garron Hospital, Toronto on Saturday, April 30th, 2022 at the age of 99.
Wife of Leacept (deceased). Beloved mother of Horace (deceased)(Shirley), Franklin (Bernadette), Mabel (Clinton), Evelyn, Phillip (Viorica), Perry, Paulette (Richard) and Linda (Rob).
Lovingly remembered and deeply missed by all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and their families along with her many, many friends, neighbours and acquaintances.
Dearly missed by Jesse, Darlene, Jane and Larraine.
Heartfelt gratitude for Dr. Kevin Workentin for his unfailing compassion and caring assistance to Lucy for the last few years along with family physician Dr. Joseph Massad.

Visitation at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Monday May 9th from 9:30 -10:30 am. Then to Holy Cross Catholic Church, Simcoe Street S. Oshawa for Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 Monday morning.
Interment will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby.
