WRIGHT, John - March 21, 1948 – Monday, May 2, 2022
Passed unexpectedly at home at the age of 74.
Beloved husband of Elaine for 50 years.
Much loved Dad to Kim (Paul), and Carolyn (Marty).
Cherished Grandpa to Harley (Monika), Nicole (Jason) and Alyssa (Johnathan). Loved great-grandpa of Audrey and Vanessa.
Dear brother to Ron (Jacqueline) and pre-deceased by Gord.
Missed by nieces, nephews and extended family.
John will be remembered for his big contagious grin and his sense of humour.
He was loved by all and will be missed by so many people. A long time taxi driver, part owner and operator of Citywide Taxi in Oshawa, he will also be missed by his regulars.
As per John’s wishes Aquamation has taken place with a celebration of life being held Wednesday May 11 from 1:00 – 3:00 at the Admiral’s Walk Clubhouse (90 Shipway Ave, Newcastle).
If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
