LEE, Derek Robert Lee - September 10, 1946 – May 10, 2022
Derek was born in Manchester, England on September, 10, 1946 to Peggy (nee Hart) and Kenneth Lee.
Loving husband to Linda and a wonderful father to son Jamie and his wife Dawn and daughter Jessica and her husband Darren.
Loving grandpa to Eric, Damon, Liam and Hayden and brother to John and Ken.
Derek spent his early years in Manchester before his family moved to Sale Moor where he met Linda.
In 1974 they immigrated to Canada, first living in Barrie before moving to Toronto where Derek worked for Colgate Palmolive until they closed.
Derek started his own successful mechanical contracting business.
Derek worked very hard to support his family. His work ethic was something to be proud of and set a positive example for his children.
The Lee family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Lakeridge Health – Ajax-Pickering site.
Funeral arrangements with McEachnie Funeral Home, Ajax.
Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, to the Alzheimer Society Of Canada would be appreciated by Derek’s family.
