BARKWELL, Ian - October 26, 1946 – May 11, 2022
Peacefully at his residence with his family by his side on Wednesday, May 11th, 2022 at 75 years of age.
Beloved husband of Rita for 54 years.
Dear father of Darryl and his wife Holly and Stephen (Elaina).
Devoted Grandpa of Katie, Jack, Tyler (Rafael), Haley, Hannah, Haley (Keshav) and Ella.
Dear brother of Sharon (Gabi) and the late Brian. Ian was a retired employee of OPUC after 35 years of service.
He was a community volunteer for 40 plus years and enjoyed his many years at Woodview Park.
Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME , 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Tuesday, May 24th from 6 - 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, May 25th from 3 – 5 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Woodview Park Clubhouse, 151 Cadillac Avenue North, Oshawa.
Memorial donations to the SickKids Foundation would be appreciated.
