BROWN, Ronald   -  March 27, 1946 - May 22, 2022

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ron Brown at the age of 76.

Ron is predeceased by his parents Harry and Jean (Elson) Brown of Goodwood, Ontario.

He will be lovingly remembered by son, Ronnie.

Forever missed, loved and cherished by his siblings Barb (Frank predeceased), Gary (Heather), Neil (Bev), Danny (Tracy), Tammy (Jim), Candy and Marty; nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and many other relatives.

Ron formed so many close friendships over the years and also retained old friends from his past.

All of whom will never forget his sense of humour and character.

Ron operated Ron Brown Auto Repair in Uxbridge until his stroke in 2014.  For the past 5 years he made home in the “Little” stone house at the Auto Repair premise until his passing.

Ron occupied his time watching NASCAR, cheering for the Toronto Blue Jays and “Texting”.  He loved his jigsaw puzzles and socializing (especially with the women!) this love was fulfilled by becoming known to the residents of Uxbridge as “the man in the window” by the Beer Store.

Ron’s wave, smile, Hello’s and “F” Bombs were contagious!!!

A private family service has been held in Uxbridge, and conducted by Reverend Karen Croxall.  Ron has been laid to rest in the Goodwood Cemetery with family.

A Service/Celebration of Life for Ron will be held on Saturday, July 16TH at the Royal Canadian Legion, 109 Franklin Street, Uxbridge from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.

In memory of Ron, please hold donations until a fund account is in place to support the re-planting of trees in Uxbridge from our storms devastation.
