Caissie NicholasCAISSIE, Nicholas (Nick) Alexander Francois  -  June 3, 1987 – May 17, 2022

Beloved son of Susan (Moran) and Rob Caissie; dear brother to Jason and Aaron Caissie.

He leaves behind his wife, Yolanda Caissie, the love of his life; and their cherished dog, Colby.

Nicholas will be deeply missed by a vast number of friends, extended family in New Brunswick and Scotland: his grandmother, Irene Moran; his cousins, aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and his mother-in-law.

A generous spirt, he was always emotionally available and supportive to all. He was a kind, gentle, thoughtful and considerate person; characteristics that followed him throughout life.

His love of his guitar, writing poetry, songs, and short stories were a big part of his life.

He had a passion for sports, playing in hockey and baseball leagues in the West Hill Community as a youth all the way to adulthood.

He spent most of his life between the Beach and West Hill, attending St. Brenden's Catholic School, St. Michael's College, and later Brock University and Humber College.

Nicholas touched so many lives and will forever be remembered as a man with strong family values, great sense of humor, big heart, warm smile and the best hugs. With those big brown caring eyes, everyone who met him wanted to be a part of his life.

In keeping with Nicholas' wishes, he has been cremated and would like all who knew him to celebrate his life through memories they share.

Memories and messages of condolences are welcome at: oshawafuneralhome.com .

Donations in memory of Nicholas can be made to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
