BENNIE, Grant William Bennie - In his 80th year, passed away in his home surrounded by his family, on June 16, 2022.
Grant is survived by his wife Cassandra of 50 years.
Cherished father of, Erinne Bennie-Tomkins (Cameron) and Cristyn Shannon (Ryan), gnd Grandpa to Bethany, Nathanial, Gareth and Gabriel.
Grant had a full life and was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend to everyone.
A retired member of the Toronto Star, an active member of Harmony United Church and Westminister United Church.
Spent as much time as possible at his favourite place, the family cottage.
A celebration of life service will be held at West Minister United Church (1850 Rossland Rd. E., Whitby, ON L1N 3P2), at 11 a.m. on July 7, 2022. Grant will be laid to rest afterwards at MOUNT LAWN CEMETERY in Whitby.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canada Cancer Society or a children's CHARITY of Your Choice.
