CASSIDY, Arlene (Nee Bowes) Cassidy - 1940 – 2022 Arlene passed away peacefully with her beloved husband of 48 years, Brian, by her side on Tuesday, June 28th, 2022 at Centenary Hospital, Toronto.
Arlene, for all who had the privilege of knowing her, was one of the kindest, most honest and the sweetest person anyone could ever hope to know.
Arlene was a devoted wife, had a creative mind and was always young at heart. Although, she had no children of her own, she gave everything she could to the children she taught during her long career as a teacher at TCDSB, and in particular, St. Geralds.
Arlene had many good friends and neighbours and will be sadly missed by all, and in particular her loving dog, Angel.
Visitation will be held at McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax on Wednesday, July 6th, 2022, from 9 to 10 AM, with a Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30 AM at Holy Redeemer Church, 796 Eyer Drive, Pickering. After the service Arlene will be taken to her final resting place in Toronto.
In lieu of flowers, a donation could be made in Arlene’s honour to The Toronto Humane Society, or a charity of your choice.
