LYNE, Joyce (nee CORYN) - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joyce Emily Lyne, on June 2, 2022, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
Joyce was born in Montreal on July 16, 1931.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Russell Stewart in 1971; her loving husband, Charles (Chuck) Lyne in 2009; her parents, William and Hettie Coryn; sisters, Martha and Myrtle; and brother, William.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy (Alan) McCartney; step-sons, Rob (Joanne deceased), Stephen (Marian); grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; sister, Leila (Brian) Carson; and many nieces and nephews.
She will be greatly missed by Ed, her devoted companion.
Joyce spent the last 22 years of her life in the Village by the Arboretum. She enjoyed the many friendships she made there and was involved in many activities.
She was a sweet, gentle and loving person and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A short service will take place on Wednesday, July 20th, at 12:00, at Woodlawn Memorial Park (cremation garden) 762 Woolwich St. Guelph. A Celebration of Life will follow (12:45) at the Village by the Arboretum , 33 Village Green Drive, in the Village Centre, Reid Hall South.
