Smith MaureenSMITH, Maureen Margaret (Angel)   - Our beloved earth fairy has earned a new set of wings after a brief battle with cancer on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at the age of 79.

Maureen, to all who knew her, was a beacon of light and love.

Loving wife and soul partner of Leslie Samuel “Sam” Smith and the greatest mother to Autumn Smith (Sarah) and Stewart Smith (Monika), and Grandmother of Casey, Hannah, and Reed.

Maureen was predeceased by her mother and father (Mary and Samuel Robinson), her beloved sister (Marilyn Lavender), and is survived by her brother David Robinson, nephews Shawn and Cameron Lavender and Kevin Robinson, and a whole whack of the Smith clan.

Maureen was a constant and devoted friend who shared her kindness and empathy with whomever she encountered.

As we mourn in this place, Heaven is celebrating, as the greatest Angel has returned home.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend at Kingsview United Church, 505 Adelaide Ave. E., for visitation on Saturday, July 9, 2022, from 11:00 a.m., until the time of the service in the church sanctuary at 1:00 p.m.

Donations in memory of Maureen to Kingsview United Church; Affirming Committee or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Online condolences may be shared at makfuneralhome.com .
