WELCH, Betty Mildred (Milly) (nee MILLS)   -  Peacefully, on May 30, 2022, at 84 years of age, Betty passed away with family by her side.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Russell and Mildred (Milly) Mills.

Betty was the devoted mother of Ted Davison (Kathy) and Pat Davison (Sheree Ward) and stepmother to Jeff Welch (Eva) and Ronda Welch.

She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Matt Davison (Megan Turnbull), Ryan Davison (Brandie Sanders), Ben Davison (Debrugh), Jordyn Davison, Noah Davison (Dawson Coe), Savannah Welch and Corttni Welch, as well as her great-grandchildren, Abigail, Carson, Miles and Fallynn.

Betty will be deeply missed by sisters, Jean Wells (Tom predeceased) and Ruth Reid (Patrick); as well as Cal Davison (Elaine) and Bill McFadyen; and her many dear friends. She also leaves behind many devoted nieces and nephews.

Betty was predeceased by Ron Welch. Upon her retirement from TD Bank, where she rose to the position of Assistant General Manager, she and Ron moved to Victoria, BC, and volunteered at Gordon United Church and Camp Pringle. After Ron's passing, she returned to Ontario to be close to family.

Betty had a great sense of adventure and travelled the world extensively. She will always hold a special place in our hearts and be remembered for her generous spirit, kindness, and ever-present smile.

A private interment was held at MOUNT LAWN CEMETERY, Whitby, on June 6, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later dat.
