BEAUBRUN, Markayia Lornique Beaubrun   -  2012 - 2022  Markayia Lornique passed away peacefully with her loving mom and step-father by her side on June 28th, 2022.

She was 9 years old.

She was tragically diagnosed with brain cancer on October 28th, 2019 and battled heroically for 3 years.

She was born on December 6th, 2012 on the beautiful island of Nassau, Bahamas.

Markayia attended both Little Feet and Faith Christian Academy.

After graduating, she then attended Carlton E. Francis where she was an honour student and excelled in her studies until being diagnosed.

She overcame seven (7) brain surgeries and despite being hospitalized for such a long time she remained hopeful, positive and resilient.

She was a warrior and a hero to many especially her little brother that lovingly referred to her as his “Doo Doo”.

Markayia was sweet, loving and kind. She won over the hearts of everyone she came in contact with. Her bubbly spirit and ability to light up any room she walked into was extremely admirable.

She loved her family and shared a special bond with each one of them especially her grandmother. The love and bond they shared was one of a kind and unbreakable.

She loved music and also loved to dance. She would often be found practicing dance moves with her mom whom she truly adored and looked up to.

The world was truly blessed to have had such a loving, caring and compassionate person like Markayia.

Her beautiful spirit will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She was a warrior and truly fought and trusted God until the end.
