BROUGHTON, Scott Broughton   -  On the morning of July 5, 2022, the sky opened up and poured rain like tears from heaven because one of the brightest lights in this world was taken from us far too soon.

As the sun rose that morning, William “Scott” Broughton took his last breath surrounded by family after fighting an uphill battle for several weeks following a set of unfortunate strokes.

Scott was an accomplished mechanic and a proud and loving father to his three children Dan (Carlie) Lindsay (Ryan) and Mike and an excited grandfather to be to his first grandchild Mila.

He leaves behind his loving partner Tammy, her daughter Laura, brother  Dave (Stephanie) and sister Sharon (late Hermon).  Cousins, neices and nehpews,  as well as his beloved four-legged friend, Millie.

Scott was called to reunite with his loved ones in heaven as he was predeceased by mother and father Lois and Jim as well as brother Bob who are now undoubtedly catching up on lost time. Scott brought so much joy to those around him through his selflessness, light-hearted jokes, kind heart and eagerness to be the "Mr. Fix-it" of all things.

He was an incredible friend, sibling, uncle, father, and loving partner. Words alone cannot express the pain and suffering friends and family feel from losing him so soon.

Scott will be forever missed and never forgotten as the world is a quieter place without him in it.

Arrangements with the DeStefano Funeral Home.

If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
