BENN, Dorothy Mona Benn - January 23, 1936 - June 14, 2022
Peacefully at Haliburton Hospital on Tuesday morning, June 14, 2022 in her 87th year.
Beloved wife of the late David Bruce Benn.
Loving mother of Dorothy and Denise (Bob Gardiner).
She joins her beloved husband Bruce, son David Benn (Gail), daughter Diane Fitzgerald and grandson Rusty Corringham.
Fondly remembered by her many grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Dear sister of Norma (the late Milton), Mary (Fred) and Bill (Brenda).
Also lovingly remembered by her son-in-law Thane Fitzgerald and his wife Valerie, and by her many nieces and nephews.
Mona worked as a Building Superintendent for many years in West Hill.
She enjoyed bowling, inviting people to her cottage, hockey, and most of all, her family.
Mona treasured her late husband, Bruce.
Mona will be deeply missed by all those that loved and cared for her.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Haliburton Highlands Health Services Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
