MORRISON, James D. Morrison - July 1939 - July 2022
The passing of James Duncan Morrison occurred at Lakeridge Health Ajax on July 19, 2022 at the age of 82.
Born in Newcastle New Brunswick, James was the eldest son of Duncan and Margaret (nee Goodfellow) Morrison.
He will be remembered by his loving wife Linda (nee Creighton), his step-son Graham (Carrie Groulx) Estey, and three step-grandchildren, Chase, Jarod and Melanie of Kanata, Ontario. He is survived by his brother David (Barbara) Morrison of Fredericton New Brunswick, and his nephew Jon and niece Sara (Martin).
He is predeceased by his parents and sister Barbara. Jim grew up in Miramichi where he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He graduated from UNB in Fredericton where he received his P.Eng. in civil engineering in 1962 and a Master's degree in 1968.
His engineering skills were put to good use in almost every Province and Territory in Canada.
He travelled extensively both with work and on vacation, always using his great photography skills.
Keeping up with sports and the news was a daily priority. He will be missed by all. Rest in Peace Jim!
Visitation Details: It was Jim's wish not to have a service, but a graveside committal in Moorefield Cemetery, Miramichi New Brunswick at a later date .
