RUTHERFORD, Shirley Rutherford - 1932 - 2022 It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Shirley Isobel Rutherford (nee Irvine) at Lakeridge Health, Bowmanville on July 25, 2022 in her 91st year.
She was a loving wife for 67 years to her late husband, Malcolm Rutherford.
She will be fondly remembered by her children Glenn, Lorie (Gene Osmond), late son Dean (Sharon Junkin) and Mark (Angela Locke).
She will be sadly missed by her 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Shirley is survived by her two siblings Glen Irvine (Marg) and Nadine Hauser.
Shirley graduated from Belleville General Hospital School of Nursing in 1953. She proudly served as a nurse for 40 years. Shirley was a strong and determined woman who was always open and honest. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.
She will never be forgotten and will remain in our hearts forever.
Family and friends are invited to the Morris Funeral Chapel, Bowmanville to Celebrate Shirley’s Life on Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 1 - 4 p.m.
