WARNE, James (Jim) Arthur Warne   -  APRIL 12, 1941 TO JULY 24, 2022

Former R.W. Bro. James A. Warne, District Deputy Grand Master, Ontario District, 2010 to 2011

Jim was born to Grace & George Warne on April 12, 1941.

After his father’s death, his mom married Frank Sweeney who would be a dad to Jim and his siblings in their formable years.

Jim was the older brother of Ron (Kay) Warne and Sandra (Peter) Tibando. Jim had 4 children, Darryl (Sue), Lesley (Roy), Jennifer (John) and Meredith (late Rob).

He enjoyed his Grandad role to Kristy (Doug), Grace (Rob), Reilly, Brent (Mel), Kyle (Liza), McKenna, Avery and Audrey.

He was excited to be a Great Grandad to Isla, Callan, Natalie, Jordyn & baby Jacob.

He will also be very missed by his dear friend Marjorie Fisher and by his longtime love, Marlene Ryan and her family.

The love of Jim’s life was truly his Guitar(s) as well as playing with his brother, son and nephews regularly.

He travelled for many years to Country Music Festivals and was very often seen at the annual Havelock Jamboree.

Due to his declining health he was devastated when he had to stop playing his guitar.

A special Thank you to TenderCare Scarborough and Scarborough Grace Hospital for their care.

Cremation will take place and a Celebration of Jim’s life will take place on Saturday, August 20th, 2022 with guitars and country music – just what he would have wanted!  It will be held at Sandy & Pete’s place 1:00 p.m. Please email lThis email address is being protected from spambots.
