MacGREGOR, Robin William MacGregor - 1943 - 2022
Robin William MacGregor, age 79, passed away peacefully at home and surrounded by his family on Thursday July 28, 2022.
Devoted husband of 47 years to Janet (nee Sutherland), and loving father of Cynthia (Jeremy), Tamara (Ryan) and Kristina (James). He was the proud grandfather of Kayla, Tristen, Oliver, Eric, Ariana, Vara, Lyla and Iyves, as well as Great-grandfather to Arabella and Lillian.
Robin will be fondly remembered by many others, including his extended family, friends and co-workers.
Throughout his courageous battle with ALS, Robin was cared for by his loving wife Janet and a team of compassionate doctors and caregivers.
Despite everything ALS had taken away from him, he continued to face his diagnosis with optimism and grace. His positive attitude, quick wit, and cheerfulness was apparent to everyone who crossed his path.
We also express our appreciation to Dr Zinman and the team at the Sunnybrook ALS clinic, the PSW’s who cared for him and the ALS Society for all their support.
A special thanks to Dr Pedretti for his dedication, understanding and compassion.
