KNIGHT, John Richard (Rick) Knight - February 1, 1953 – July 24, 2022
Passed away suddenly at home surrounded by family.
Beloved husband of Margaret Susan Knight (nee Brown).
Loving father of Amanda Knight (Josef Willand) and Melissa Devlin (Patrick Devlin).
Adoring Papa to Jacob, Parker and Lily. Dear brother to Connie Knight Andrusyk.
Loved by his brother-in-law Sandy Brown (Mary Wilson). Rick was predeceased by his adoring sister Sandra Knox (Chris Knox).
Loved by his nephews and niece Madison, Douglas and Heather. Father John Knight and predeceased by his adoring mother Bernice Knight (nee Finn).
Rick was a happy-go-lucky guy with a deep adoration for family. There was nothing this husband – father – man would not do for the people he loved.
He was a jack of all trades, fixer of things, lover of books and movies. His smile and eyes lit up a room. Just as dedicated to his family as he was to General Motors Oshawa for 35 years. He will be deeply missed by all those who had the chance to know him.
A celebration of life will be held at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, Bowmanville on Thursday August 4th, 2022 from 1 – 2 pm, service will follow at 2 pm.
Memorial Donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association.
