DOOLEY, Juanita Dooley   -  On July 27, 2022, Juanita Dooley passed away peacefully in her sleep at Hillsdale Estates in Oshawa, at the age of 92 from natural causes.

Juanita has left an amazing legacy behind to all her children, grand-children, and great grand- children.

She was a light to all those who knew her.

Her presence was one of strength, comfort, gentleness and love. She carried herself throughout life selflessly, always thinking of others and how she could help them.

She was the “ROCK” of the family.

She had a strong Christian faith that carried her all her living years and now into eternity she rests with the Lord.

Juanita was the epitome of 1 Corinthians 13:4-8:

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.”

She was the beloved mother to Patti (Gerry), Jim, Mary Lou, Joe (Virginia), Coena, Clarence(Robin), Michael (Lynne), Michelle (Robert) and Natalie (Paul) all in Ontario.

She was grandmother to Kristopher, Stephen, Brian, Chantal, Paul, Alex, Jordan, Kevin, Brandon, and Jacob and great-grandmother to Dyon, Dylan, Hannah, Dynesha, Justin, Isabelle, Faith, Dash, Kade and Liam in Ontario.

She is pre-deceased by her husband Clarence Sr (1996) and son Jim (2006).

She is pre-deceased by her parents Nina and Melvin Colbourne and brothers Varrick, Ernest and Alwin of Lewisporte NL.

She is survived by her sisters, Peggy (ON) Trixie (Ewen), Judy (Albert)(NL), Bride and Shelia (John) (NS), and many nieces and nephews who knew her affectionately as Auntie Juanita.

Her family wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful, caring staff at The Carriage House Retirement Residence, which was her home for the past 7 years, and to the compassionate nurses and PSWs at Hillsdale Estates LTC where she spent the past 3 months.

We are forever indebted to all of you.
