KNIGHT, Virginia Marjorie Marie Knight   -  1964 - 2022

On Saturday, July 30, while sleeping peacefully, Virginia Knight (nee McWilliams) cast off the last of this world's entanglements and went to join her Mom & Dad in God’s presence.

Although Virginia will be missed by her husband Sam and daughters Adriana and Eleanor, as well as her brother Ronald and sister Victoria, they are comforted by the knowledge that they will see her again in Heaven.

From an early age, Virginia adopted as her personal motto and desire “Let me be His arms extended to someone in need”. This desire and focus to reach out to others led her to serve her Church family in various roles for over 40 years; to serve on multiple mission relief trips to Central America, Mexico, and The Caribbean; to adopt 2 infants and make them part of her family.

Virginia spent over 35 years working in the Legal profession, mainly in the area of Family Law. She saw her work as not simply a job, but a calling to be there to help families during a time of need, even if it was simply to be a sympatric ear and listen.

Virginia was a strong, confident, and self-assured woman who refused to let her health struggles define her. She taught her daughter to “never stop until the ref blows the whistle” and lived that lesson by continuing to work right up until the end.

God has “blown His whistle” and her family is pleased that Virginia is now resting in the arms of her Lord who she lived to represent.

We wish to thank Dr. James Chlarotto and the staff of the Centenary Cancer Clinic for being alongside Virginia over all these years. No one fought harder for her.

Arrangements with McEachnie Funeral Home.
