DOPPLER, Heinz - We are heartbroken to announce that our beloved husband, brother, Dad, and Opa has left us.
After a short but aggressive illness, Heinz passed away at home, on August 6, 2022, leaving behind his devastated wife, Nancy; former wife, Adelfina; sister, Ingrid (Sergio); niece, Eliette (Hector); sons, Andrew (Donna) and Mark (Adelina); and 4 beautiful grandchildren, Cristian, Gavin, Madeleine and Liam.
Born during WWII in Vienna, Austria, Heinz's family struggled to find food and safety.
Heinz graduated as a textile engineer, served his requisite year in the Austrian army, then married his sweetheart, Adi, and immigrated to Toronto, Canada in 1960.
He took great joy in "his boys" and was so proud seeing them become wonderful husbands and fathers. He has left this world knowing he was so very loved by family and friends. We love and miss you, and we wish so much you didn't have to leave us so soon.
Heinz's Life Celebration will be held at McEachnie Funeral Home, in Ajax, on August 17, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. Should you wish, a donation to a Charity of Your Choice, in his memory, would make him happy.
