CURRIE, Robert Francis (Bob) - NOVEMBER 23, 1930 – AUGUST 16, 2022
Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday, August 16th, 2022 at 91 years of age.
Beloved husband of the late Leone for 61 years.
Wonderful father of Joanne (David Bourner), Cathy (Ron Crozier) and Ellen (Jim Piggott).
Proud grandfather of Laura (Eric Dymond), Scott, Jennifer (Noah Gladstone) and Craig (Kaleigh Post) and great grandfather of Henry.
Predeceased by his sister Bettie and brother David. Bob will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A special thank you to the caring staff at the Carriage House for providing a wonderful home environment for him over the past 3 years.
Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOMEE, 847 King Street West (365-800-4833) on Friday, August 19th from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. GREGORY THE GREAT PARISH, 214 Simcoe St. N., Oshawa on Saturday, August 20th at 10:30 a.m. Interment Thornton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
