DYMUS, Mary Theresa Dymus  -  Beloved Wife of Eugene Chorney, Mother of Nathan Peaker (Pam) and Theresa Gibson (Mark), Grandmother of Tyler, Tanner and Braeden, Aunt to many Nephews and Nieces.

Friend to all who crossed her path, passed away far too early on Tuesday August 16, 2022, at Lakeridge Hospital in Oshawa from neuroendocrine cancer.

Born and raised in London, Ontario on July 2, 1957, she lived for a time in Mississauga, Ontario before spending the rest of her life in Oshawa; working for over thirty years at the LCBO. Predeceased by siblings, Raymond Dymus, Anna Van Der Borch, Irene Schembri, Michael Dymus and Peter Dymus.

Despite any adversity, Mary had a powerful resilience and responded to everything with grace, positivity, kindness and love. Mary was gentle, yet incredibly strong.

She was selfless, fearless, thoughtful and kind. She was innovative, creative and loved to cook and travel. She enjoyed helping others and lead by example. Mary left an impact on all those who knew her by her radiant smile, kind heart, wicked sense of humour and let’s not forget her unique classic personal fashion style and eco-friendly nature.

She made an indelible impression and enhanced the lives of all who were fortunate to cross her path by chance or by choice.

Mary’s family would like to extend their sincerest thanks to all the wonderful doctors and nurses at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for all of their care and compassion.

In keeping with Mary’s wishes, cremation has taken place and she will be laid to rest privately among her family.
