Passed away peacefully August 28, 2022 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa with her daughters by her side.
Maria was in her 97th year.
Beloved wife of the late Walter Wnuk.
Loving Mother of Sylvia (Clyde) Dupuis, Annie (Brad) Bryant, Marilyn (Paul) Moffatt, and the late Jean Dodsworth (Rick Plume), and the late Robert Wnuk.
Cherished Baba to Danielle (Andrew) Ross, Andrew (Alysse Kennedy) Dupuis, Jennifer (Jim) Means, Ryan (Sarah) Moffatt, and Nick (Sarah) Moffatt.
Loving Great Grandma (Baba) of Hailey, James, Josh, Ben, Jack, Simon, Max, Ethan and Katie.
Maria was so loved by her family and friends, and will be greatly missed by all.
Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME 124 King Street East, Oshawa, for visitation on Friday September 2nd 2022, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. with panachyda time to be confirmed.
Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial at the St. George the ST. GEORGE THE GREAT MARTYR UKRAINIAN CATHOLIC CHURCH on Saturday September 3rd 2022, at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Wolodymyr & St. Olha Ukrainian Cemetery in Courtice.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are appreciated to the St. George’s Ukrainian Catholic Church.
