SCHROEDER, Dorothy Ann Schroeder - Dorothy passed away peacefully at Haliburton Highlands Health Services on Wednesday August 24th, near her cottage where she loved spending time.
She was born on June 26th, 1931 to the late Peter Nekechuk and the late Eleanor Higgins.
Beloved sister of Catherine (Kay, deceased), Agnes (deceased), John (deceased), Josephine (Josie, deceased), Eleanor (Helen, deceased), Margaret, and Joan.
Cherished mother to Barry, Donald (Lyn), Jean, Nancy, and Virginia (Joe).
Grandmother to Lisa, Wilda, Samantha, Marie, Kelly, Ian, and Natalie. Great grandmother to Kiara, Jade, Emma, Matthew, Ryan and Lincoln.
Aunt of many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Wednesday August 31st from 11:30 -1:00. Funeral Mass will follow at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 903 Gifford St Whitby Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 pm.
