BROWN, Marilyn Frances ‘Fran’ - Unexpectedly at Humber River Hospital, North York, on Friday, September 9th, 2022.
Fran, in her 79th year.
Fran was predeceased by her husband Ron Brown and her parents Frank and Marie Hayward.
Beloved sister of Bob Hayward and wife Sandra of Grafton, Beth Meade and husband Gerry of Stouffville, Norma Macintyre and husband Edward of Mississauga, Ralph Hayward and wife Sharon of Oshawa.
Fran will be missed by her nieces and nephews: Lara and Rich Hayward; Ken and Suzanne Meade; Stuart and Christina Macintyre; Daniel (deceased), Josh, Pete and Julianna Hayward.
They had grown to know and love ‘Aunt Fran’ over the years.
Fran was very active in the Church of the Good Shepherd, which was her spiritual home. She will be greatly missed by her many friends who she treated with compassion and respect.
Fran was an ardent Blue Jays fan and followed them on TV when she could not attend their home games. She much
enjoyed her theatre outings to the Mirvish plays. A funeral service for Fran will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1630 Lawrence Avenue West, North York on
Wednesday, September 14th, 2022.
A gathering for family and friends at 10:00 a.m., the service at 11:00 a.m., a reception with light luncheon to follow the service, and graveside interment at Elgin Mills Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
