JACKSON, Franklin - 1929 - 2022 Franklin Jackson passed away at the age of 93 peacefully, with family by his side, on August 21, 2022.
Franklin was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Shirley Joyce Jackson (nee Paterson), his brother, Lionel and his parents, Robert and Annie Jackson, (nee Mousley).
He will be greatly missed by his daughters, Kathy Jackson, Kelly (James Abarotta), Kristy (Jay Horne), and Karen (Tim Maxwell).
He leaves behind his ten grandchildren, Dylan Currie (Sophie), Jonathan Currie (Roxie), Kelsey McLellan Huber (Ben), Kolin Maxwell, Nicole and Erin Horne, Robert, Jacob, Caitlyn, Rebecca Abarotta, and three great-grandchildren, Weston, Carter and Chloe Currie.
The family would like to thank the team at The Village of Taunton Mills and the team at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for taking excellent care of Frank over the last year.
A Service will be held at The SIMPLE ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL CENTRE, 1057 Brock Road, Pickering, ON, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2022, followed by a reception from 12-2 p.m.
