Wicks MauriceWICKS, Maurice Alfred Wicks   -   SEPTEMBER 2, 1936 – SEPTEMBER 25, 2022 

Maurice Wicks passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday september 25th at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville. 

Maurice was in his 87th year.  Best friend and loving husband of 55 years to Marilyn Wicks (nee Kendall). 

Proud father of Kim Woodward and Darren (Kelly) Wicks. 

Cherished Papa of Sereen, Ethan, Kyle and Graydon. 

Loved brother in law of Donna (late Fred) Wayne and Doreen, David and Darlene, Glen and Charlene. 

Predeceased by his parents Alfred and Irene Wicks. 

Maurice was a teacher at Courtice Secondary School for 29 years and also a very proud volunteer firefighter at Station 4 in Courtice. 

Maurice and Marilyn were also the owners of Flair photography for 24 years. 

Special thanks is extended to the wonderful nurses and support staff on the palliative unit for their care and compassion. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to Kedron United Church or the Parkinson society of Canada will be greatly appreciated.
