RILEY, Larry James Riley - 1950 - 2022
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Larry James Riley on September 30th, 2022, in Scarborough, Ontario.
Larry will be lovingly remembered by his wife Toy of 27 years and his daughter Ketsarin.
Toy and Larry married in Thailand in 1995 and returned to Canada to begin their married life together.
Shortly thereafter, Ketsarin, who was 12 years old at the time, joined them to begin their life in Canada as a family. He is survived by his father Bill and his sister Karen (Kim) Thompson.
He is predeceased by his mother June, sister Peggy, and brothers Wayne (Carol) and Rick (Marlene). He will be affectionately remembered by his nieces and nephews: Mike, Paul, Sarah, Jenn, Brian, Lukas and Katie, as well as relatives on Toy’s side of the family who reside in Thailand.
He worked for the provincial government for many years as an auditor. Although he was challenged with health issues from a young age, Larry was happy and lived each day to its fullest.
Approximately 20 years ago, a severe stroke left Larry with physical challenges that would be faced head-on by himself, Toy and Ketsarin. Although very difficult at times, Larry continued to smile whenever he could.
Larry passed away peacefully with his wife, daughter, and sister by his side.

In keeping with Larry’s wishes, a private family service will be held.
