Spurrell MargaretSPURRELL, Margaret Rose (nee HARRINGTON)   -   January 3, 1946 - September 21, 2022

In her 77th year, on September 21, 2022, after a valiant fight against 3 relentless pulmonary emboli, we all lost our beloved Margaret Rose Spurrell, a 48 year Pickering resident, devoted wife of 59 years to Ralph; a loving mother to Ralph Jr. (Shelley), Debbie, Jeff (Dara) and later, daughter-in-law, Geraldine (Kevin); and a dedicated Grandma to four grandchildren, Myles, Kelsey, Ben, and Stephen (Paulina).

Margaret Rose was born in Toronto, January 3, 1946 to Joseph and Agnes Harrington, and was the youngest sister of Kenneth Harrington and Barbara Bera.

On January 25, 1964, Margaret Rose married her soulmate and best friend, Ralph, and they were inseparable, as they enjoyed life, raised their 3 kids and were an important and integral part of their grandchildren's lives.

Margaret also had a successful career that included Blue Cross, Centenary Hospital and one of her favourites, Director at the Pickering Y, where she was adored for her creativity, compassion and enthusiasm, by the little ones whose lives she helped shape, and their parents.

She spent her final working years at Konica-Minolta Head Office where they considered her a "Bright Light" and her talents and skills were appreciated for 24 years, until her retirement. Adored by all, her passing has left a deep void in hearts worldwide.

Margaret Rose's legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone with whom she interacted, as well as those who were blessed enough to have her in their lives.
