Peacefully at Chartwell-Wynfield Retirement Home on Thursday, October 6th 2022 in her 83rd year.
Beloved wife of the late William Sweet.
Dear sister of Ernest Lukawesky and sister in law of Sergio Latin and Tommy and Erna Sweet.
Cherished aunt of Cindy (David), Blaine, Sherry, (Clive), Duane (Heather), Claudine (David), Ernie Jr (Grace), Greg (Kelly), Sandra, Christopher (Michele) and Marcy (Greg), and great aunt and great, great aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Sonja will be fondly remembered by her many cousins and dear friends.
A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Chartwell-Wynfield for their compassion and care.
Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME (847 King St West on Friday, October 21st from 10:00am until time of memorial service in the chapel at 11:00am.
