TRANQUADA, Arendina (Ina) (Nee Meyer) - 1 MAY 1, 1947 – OCTOBER 8, 2022
Ina passed peacefully with the help of “MAID”, on October 8th.
As was her desire, she passed at home holding the hand of her beloved husband of 37 years Tom.
Ina was a strong willed, talented, beautiful lady…born in Amsterdam, Holland.
Mother Maartje, father Johannes, and her 5 siblings immigrated to Canada in 1958.
Spending most of her teenage years in Humber Summit, she grew up to be an independent, caring individual.
Always very attentive to her personal appearance, her artistic talent spilled over from painting and sketching, to calligraphy, interior decorating, gardening and landscaping.
Ina used those skills to transform each place she lived to a unique comforting place to be, particularly her homes in Orangeville Ont where she spent 20+ years of her later life enjoying transforming her homes to her visions.
Ina loved and was loved by many including her stepchildren Tom (Tricia), Jen (Ian), Kristy (Justin), 5 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Honoring Ina’s request, there will be no funeral service or celebration of life.
