THRASHER, Peter Caverley - August 7, 1932 - October 22nd, 2022
Peter Caverley Thrasher of Whitby passed away peacefully on October 22, 2022 at the age of 90.
Peter was born on August 7, 1932 in Brockville, Ontario. Peter spent his 31+ year career as Tool & Die Draftsman at General Motors in Oshawa.
Peter loved to sing and was a member of The County Town Singers and the GM Choir for many years.
He was quite involved in the Whitby Theatre both on and off stage.
He and Brenda enjoyed travelling together over the years to their favorite places such as Hawaii and Arizona.
Peter is survived by his wife Brenda and his 6 children Bill (Joanne), Tom, Lynne (Bert), Dianne (Jim), Greg (Gaye), Kim (Brian) and his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his siblings, Joseph, Allen (Bud), Virginia and David.
Thank you to the wonderful staff at Port Perry Place who took great care of him in his final years.
There will be a visitation on Thursday October 27th at 11:00 am with the service following at 1:00 pm at W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby. (Due to health concerns, we request Fragrance Free please).
