WELDRICK, Maureen Weldrick   -  22 September 22, 1942 - October 31, 2022

Maureen Weldrick (nee Malone) passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Monday 31 October 2022.

She was sleeping holding her sister Patricia’s hand at the Oak Ridges Hospice of Durham.

Maureen had been battling cancer for the past year.

Maureen was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland on 22 September 1942.

She emigrated to Montreal, Canada in 1953 with her parents William and Elizabeth, and siblings Robert and Patricia. Two years later the family welcomed twin daughters Donna and Terry.

Maureen married her husband Keith in 1964. They were happily married for 55 years until Keith passed away in 2020. Maureen is survived by her son Robert, daughter Kelly, grandson Keifer, and her brother and sisters.

In remembrance please consider donating to Oak Ridges Hospice of Durham or your local community hospice. The people of Oak Ridges provided peace of mind for Mom in a very loving and caring environment allowing her to pass with dignity and happiness. Maureen also deeply respected and generously supported the work of the Salvation Army.

Rest in Peace Mom. You are now in a better place with Dad, Nanny, Poppy, relatives and friends.
