BEGIN, Melanie Begin - SEPTEMBER 15, 1965 – OCTOBER 26, 2022
Passed away peacefully after a lengthy battle against cancer on Wednesday October 26th, 2022 in Vancouver BC at St. Paul's Hospital surrounded by her family at the age of 57 years.
Dearly beloved wife of Alex of 41 years.
Loving mother of Robin Paquette (Marie-Helene), and Simon Paquette (Riley), and her beloved furry friends Dexter and Mini.
Dear sister of Hugue (Patty), Bertrand (Christine), and Odile.
Predeceased by her parents Jean-Paul Begin and Marthe Goulet. Melanie will be missed by her nieces, nephews, family, friends in Ontario and Quebec.
She will be fondly remembered by her associates at Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and as an active and proud member of OPSEU/SEFPO; Co-Chair of The Ministry of Employee Relations Committee (MERC); and a passionate supporter of the Oshawa Generals Hockey Team following them at home and away. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME 847 King St. W. on Sunday November 20th, 2022 from 11:30 am until time of Service of Remembrance in the Chapel at 1:30 pm.
