TRINEER, Freda Mary Isabel (nee Kelly) Trineer  -  Passed away peacefully and comfortably at Bowmanville Memorial Hospital in the evening of Saturday, November 12, 2022.

Beloved wife of the late Wendell Trineer for 58 years until his passing June 7, 2004.

Loving mom to Sharon (the late Graham Neil) Trineer, Sandi (Paul) Plumbtree, and Wendy (Robin) Trineeer-Rickard.

Freda was born in Avoca, Quebec to Walter and Minnie Kelly (nee Mott).

Survived by her loving sister, Lorna Young. Pre-deceased by her four brothers, Donald (Ella), Gerald (Grace), Harry, Jonathan, Phemie. The name Freda means ‘peace, very much suited to mom’s personality.

Proud Nan to 7 grandchildren Scott (Shirley), Heidi (Pierre), Abbie (Mathieu), Gordie (Louise), Kelly (Gavin), Rudy (Joy), Whitney (Dale) and 10 great-grandchildren Jade, Jeremy, Adrian, Rosalie, Gabryelle, Willow, Brooke, Oakley, Jackson, Alice.

Mom lived through so much in the 9-centuries she was here – WW11, social standard changes, the changing world of technology. Mom soldiered bravely and gracefully through a hip replacement and COVID-19, ever practical, rarely complaining, still positive.

Mom’s passion was her family.

Freda will be truly missed by close friend and companion, Murray Dunn. M&M is what we called Mom & Murray. M&M became excellent companions and it was a comfort knowing they had each other.

Thank you, mom for all the amazing ways you have touched the lives of your family.

Cremation has taken place. A small, private family service will be held.

If so desired, donations in her memory can be made to Bowmanville Memorial Hospital.

The family would like to thank Dr Harvey Williams and Bowmanville Memorial Hospital for such amazing care and team-support. Also thank you to staff at Season’s Retirement Home for their love and kindness throughout mom’s two-year residency.
