JOYCE, James Douglas - Peacefully, on Sunday November 15, 2022, at the Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, at age 76.
Jim Joyce, formerly of Merlin, and Washago, joined his beloved wife, Alice Joyce (nee Roots).
Cherished son of Nora and the late Al Joyce.
Brother of Linda (Steve) Barry, and brother-in-law of Janet and Sue. Predeceased by his brothers Tom and Bob.
Jim will be missed by his many nieces and nephews, his honorary daughter Veronika, and both the Dixon and Walker families. Jim was raised in Cannington, and he ran a successful dental practice with Alice in Arthur, Ontario.
The family of Jim Joyce will receive friends at Trinity United Church, 50 Laidlaw Street North in Cannington on Saturday November 19th from 12 noon – 2 p.m.
A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the church at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, the Humane Society, or Parkinson Canada.
