CARACCIOLO, Vincent  -  It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the sudden death of Vincent Louis Caracciolo, beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend, on October 24, 2022, at the age of 38.

He is survived by his father, Martin Caracciolo (Marlene) and mother, Pauline (Grier) Hammerstrom (William); his brothers, Graham Caracciolo (Tabitha) and daughter Sawyer, Luke Hammerstrom (Zara), and Michael Caracciolo; and sister, Michelle Caracciolo (Spiros).

Vincent was born to his young, adventuring parents, on the Island of Grand Cayman, and then later spent most of his school years in Clarington, Ontario.

He was a graduate of the Durham College Law and Security/Youth Corrections graduate program, and worked for the City of Pickering.

He was widely known by all as one of the friendliest and kindest men around.

He would have literally "given you the shirt off his back" if needed. He inspired so many people with his enthusiasm and exuberance for life.

Vincent loved to dance and sing karaoke, play golf and listen to all varieties of music, especially in a concert setting. He was a completely devoted fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and never lost hope that they would eventually win the Stanley Cup.

He always had time for a boardgame, especially Chess, Risk and Scrabble, and he rarely lost. He will be dearly missed by everyone he knew, and never forgotten.

A Funeral Mass took place at St. Joseph's Church in Bowmanville, with Interment at Bond Head Cemetery, Newcastle, Ontario.

In lieu of flowers, we would appreciate donations to The Saint Vincent de Paul Society.
