You will be missed so much on this earth and in everyday life. You are unforgettable - we will keep your memory alive.

Nine days before his 83rd birthday, this coming Christmas Day, Joe Payne unexpectedly passed at Bowmanville Hospital on December 16th, 2022. He put up a good fight.

Predeceased by his parents whom he thought the world of; George Payne and Isabella McDevitt. His brothers Albert, George, Stan, and Billy, and his sisters Ester, Doris, and Hilda. His former wife Marie Payne (nee Heffernan) and the Mother of his two daughters.

Joe is survived by his brother Wally, and his wife Cathy and his many nieces, nephews, and their families. His oldest daughter Deborah Whelan Payne, son-in-law and pal Liam Whelan. His youngest daughter Lisa Lynch, son-in-law Tom and his two grandchildren Liam and Kieran. Sue Brennan, his partner of many years. His stepdaughter Kelly Brennan and partner Michael Buick, grandchildren Rhianna and Molly, and stepson John Brennan and children Cloe and Simon.

If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Bowmanville Memorial Hospital Foundation in Joes honour.

Together, let's give the legend JOE PAYNE the send-off he deserves.
