HOOPER, David - We hold David close to our hearts as we announce his passing after a lengthy battle with cancer at the age of 69.
He leaves behind a loving and devoted wife Judith of 47 years, two daughters, Jennifer and Cheryl (Rob) which were the joy to his existence.
His cherished grandsons William and Hudson.
David was the youngest of three siblings born to Jack and Margaret Hooper since deceased. He is survived by his sister Janice Richards(Kelley)and brother Robert (Linda).
David’s career started in menswear then on to leather goods and finally running his own successful promotional business.
We will be forever grateful to Sunnybrook Hospital, Dr. Robert Nam and Dr. G. Bjarnason for adding years to David’s life.
Special thanks to Dr Mule’ and to the team at Ed’s House in Cobourg for supplying thoughtful and sensitive palliative/hospice care.
It would be David’s wish that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
May you walk gently through the world, keeping your loved one with you always, knowing that you are never parted in the beating of your heart.
