RENISON, Hilda Miriam - July 20, 1929 to December 18, 2022
Miriam Renison, retiree of General Motors, passed away peacefully at Port Perry Place on December 18, 2022.
Widow of the late Bill Renison who passed away in 1967 and mother of Rick (Chris), Karen (Ted), Glenn (Purple) and Jim who passed away earlier this year.
Sister of Lily Young (nee Pitka) as well as the late Nora Fischer (Nee Pitka) and Hellen Pitka.
Grandmother to eight and great-grandmother to four and counting.
Miriam held a number of interests including skiing, and cottaging at Chalk Lake.
She was also one serious scrabble player, an avid reader and even took some classes at college. She was also the organist at Grace Lutheran Church in Oshawa for a number of years.
The funeral service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church (540 Cromwell Ave., Oshawa) on January 10, 2023 at 11 a.m.
Donations may be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society, Alzheimer Society of Durham Region or to Grace Lutheran Church.
