HARRIS, David John Harris - Passed away suddenly at Fairview Lodge, Whitby on February 3rd, 2023 at the age of 69 years.
Survived by his wife Wing Sau Yik. Loving dad to Buffy (Carson) Amour, Ellie (Josh) Charron and David Harris. Cherished grandpa to Benjamin & Chloe.
Dear brother of Daniel (Eunice) Harris, Dale (Val) McGill, Chris (Patti) McGill, Rick (Kanwillin) McGill and Susan (Denis) Caron. He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Dave started working with horses at a young age, and developed a life long love for them.
He moved on to work with CP Rail eventually advancing his career to work for Transport Canada as a Dangerous Goods Officer.
Dave enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Dave could often be found out on his boat fishing or tending his garden. Dave was a proud grandpa, taking any opportunity to boast about his grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, Bowmanville on Wednesday February 8th, 2023 from 12 – 1 pm, a Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 1 pm. Following the service please join us at the Bowmanville Legion, 109 King St E, Bowmanville, ON L1C 1K8.
