HUNTER, Neil Clifford   -  It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Neil Clifford Hunter in his 99th year, at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre, on Friday, February 3, 2023.

 

Neil was a World War 2 Veteran and a member of the Toronto Scottish Reg. 

Dearly beloved husband of the late Jean Hunter (Symons) (2009) for 61 years.

 

Forever loved and cherished dad to Bob & Linda Hunter, Pat & Paul Studinski, Jim & Shirley Hunter, Tom & Valerie Hunter. Cherished grandfather to Jennifer & Megan, Adam & Kate, Ryan & Nicole, Lynleigh, Leslie & Frank, Greg & Emily, Ken & Mauricio, Jill and Gary. Great grandfather to 14.

 

Predeceased by his parents Harold & Ella Hunter. Survived by his brother Gerry. Predeceased by his siblings Don, Eva, Jack, Jean and Ken.

 

The family will celebrate Neil’s life later in the spring. Interment will be at the Bethel Cemetery, Greenbank.

 

If desired, memorial donations can be made to the Greenbank Church or Port Perry Hospital Foundation made through Low and Low Funeral Home, Port Perry.

 

A very special thank you to the staff at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre for their excellent care and compassionate care to Dad.
