Cormier JamesCORMIER, James Frederick Cormier   -  August 29, 1944 - February 3, 2023

James was born on August 29, 1944 in Saint John, N.B.

The son of the late Theodore and Odile (Mallais) Cormier.

James is survived by siblings Diane, Lauretta, Theresa, Gloria, Barbara, Jack, Lee, Delbert and their families, and is predeceased by his brother Theodore Jr., all of Saint John, N. B.

James was a proud father to Lisa (Peter) and Laura (Adrian).

He is remembered and loved by his grandchildren April (Chris), Ariadne, Theoden, and great grandson Lucas.

To many James was known for being a respected Superintendent at a building which became filled with family and long term friends.

He was always willing to go above and beyond to help those in need and believed in being kind to everyone, regardless of circumstance. He found peace in nature and had a special connection with animals; often feeding foxes or nurturing abandoned baby birds back to health.

James’ legacy will live on in those who were shaped by him, and his family will keep his memory and outlook towards others close to our hearts and in our intentions.

He is gone but he’s not forgotten.

Messages of condolences and sharing of memories may be left for the family by visiting barnesmemorialfuneralhome.com .
