KING, James King -
March 11, 1939 – February 18, 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James (Jim) King at the age of 83.
Jim worked as a Certified Professional Accountant until he retired to Muskoka, Ontario.
He was active as a volunteer in many organizations throughout his life. Jim was an avid fan of hockey, basketball, and football. He especially enjoyed playing golf and curling.
He was a member of the Bracebridge Probus Club. Jim had many interests such as gourmet cooking, bridge, collecting and refinishing antiques, watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, singalongs, karaoke, card games, and completing crossword puzzles.
He enjoyed spending winters in Florida with his wife Ellen and his many friends from Bracebridge.
Jim had a love of anything Irish and especially enjoyed celebrating St. Patrick’s Day.
We would like to thank the staff at Hillsdale Terraces in Oshawa for their dedicated and loving care over the past four years.
Jim and his warm smile will be fondly remembered by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, friends in Bracebridge, and the staff and community at Hillsdale Terraces.
There are special people in our lives who never leave our hearts, even after they are gone.
